The French elections, as seen
by Greenpeace and the Simpsons.
A year has passed since Cop21, which was presented as a historic conference. But since then, politicians and the media have moved on to other things, and much-needed changes are still pending. How can we promote Greenpeace's fight in order to engage and mobilize the French in the long term?
With all eyes focused on the upcoming French presidential elections, Greenpeace is using the topic - through a Simpsons parody - to highlight the absence of environmental issues in political debates. In a televised debate, the candidates are transformed into Simpsons characters, each in turn exposing their flimsy ecological programs. A humorous film that encourages the French to mobilize and engage in real solutions by supporting Greenpeace.
